PRICING
Individual Therapy Appointment
Following orientation to treatment and agreement on a treatment plan, subsequent sessions are considered individual sessions. The fees for individual sessions are $150 for 60 minutes, $165 for 90 minute sessions (specific to some treatments).
To ensure the development of a strong working relationship and treatment plan, three sequential session types are offered.
An initial therapy session provides an orientation to treatment, review of forms and confidentiality agreement. The goal of the session is discuss current difficulties and get an idea of what the individual is seeking from treatment. Initial sessions are approximately 60 minutes in length and are priced at $150.

In order to ensure an appropriate treatment plan, the second session is focused on more in depth discussion of current difficulties and focused on gathering more information about the client. This may be done through conversation and may also include completion of symptom checklists or scales – similar to what one might complete at a doctor’s office. Initial assessment sessions are $180. Any additional assessment sessions are priced at individual session prices (see below).
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Dr. Fontenot’s practice is focused on the provision of individual treatment. At times, it may be relevant to include a family member in the appointment. As long as sessions remain focused on the current treatment plan, sessions will be billed at individual session prices. Should a client request a couples or family session, these sessions will be billed at $180 per 60 minutes.

Group Therapy
Dr. Fontenot does not currently offer group therapy, but hopes to begin a mindfulness-based educational group in the future.
At this time, Palmetto Perspectives provides treatment on a self-pay basis and payment is expected at time of service. Dr. Fontenot is not on insurance panels, but is able to provide superbills to clients for submission to their insurance companies for reimbursement. Needs-based fee reductions may available based on financial circumstances and are at the discretion of Dr. Fontenot.
